Nomination for The International Ibsen Award 2010
The International Ibsen Award Commitee hereby calls for nominations of candidates for the International Ibsen Award 2010.
The International Ibsen Award was established by the Norwegian Parliament in 2007 and amounts to NOK 2,5 million (approx. 300.000 Euro). The International Ibsen Award honours an individual, organisation or institution within arts and culture for exceptional achievements defined within the spirit of Ibsen’s work. The Award shall initiate a critical debate about essential social, existential and aesthetic topics. Who can nominate?The right to nominate is open to anyone. The Nomination Letter must be written in English and stake the reasons for nomination (2 - 3 pages). The letter should contain a brief CV for the canditate and two - three suggested referees who know and can provide additional information about the canditate's work. Self-nominations are not acceptable. Nominations are strictly confidential. They shall not be disclosed to the nominee or to others, not even after the prize-winner has been announced.
Deadline for nominationThe date for Nomination 2010 is Desember 1. 2009. Please note that submitted material will not be returned.
